Frequently Asked Questions.

Q. Can you teach me HTML?
A. No I cannot teach you how to work with HTML. Good news is HTML isn't hard to learn. There are some very good websites out there with HTML help. Check the resources page under HTML Help for my recommended websites on this topic.

Q. Can you recommend any HTML or WYSIWYG editors?
A. HTML editors I can recommend are WinSyntax and Edit Plus. You can find more information and links to these in the resources area. I do not recommend any WYSIWYG editors because usually they produce messy code. I do have one I like for creating tables but that is about all I use it for. Check the resources page for more information and links.

Q. Can I modify your templates and call them my own to sell or give away?
A. No. These templates are my creation and it does take a lot of work to make them look right in different browsers. The graphics I use are licensed from various sources so I have the right to use them. If you wanted to use them for your own designs you would have to get your own license and create your own website graphics from scratch as I do. Check the resources page for more information.

Q. Can I use your templates for a commercial site?
A. Yes so long as the site does not contain anything illegal, defamatory, porn, cruelty to people or animals, prejudice of any kind, and so on.

Q. What do I need to have to use the templates?
A. You will need a program to unzip the zip files you download which contain the templates. Check the resources page for recommend zip programs. You will also need some way to edit the template. Check the resources page under HTML Editors for more information and links. You will also need hosting for the images in the template. I will not host them for you. The resources page has some links to places where you can host your images from basic to advanced.

Q. Can I remove the links to The Daily Template from the bottom of the template(s)?
A. No. The copyright links must remain at the bottom of each template. Also any copyright information concerning the graphics must remain at the bottom of the template. At this time I do not sell licenses which allow for removing the text or links. I may at some time in the future though.

Q. Do you sell your templates on a CD/DVD?
A. Not at this time but I might at some point in the future..

Q. Will you offer other kinds of templates besides auction templates?
A. Possibly. I do plan at a later date to add regular website templates as well as HTML newsletter templates.

Q. How do you make those screenshots of the entire template page?
A. I tried several screen capture programs and found one I liked. !Quick Screenshot Maker isn't that expensive for what it does and I absolutely love it. You can get your own copy now by Clicking Here or Click Here for more information.
